Tutorials and Troubleshooting
Mar 15, 2008 Categorized: News •
My blogs seem to be spacing farther and farther apart these days. I spent this entire last week dealing with some maintenance issues on a client website, which still are not resolved, as well as writing up a Photoshop tutorial. I hope to finish the tutorial over the weekend and attempt to get it published on one of my favorite Photoshop tutorial websites. If it gets accepted, I’ll tell you all about it. If it doesn’t, I’ll publish it here!
This tutorial is my very first to write, and it has been quite fun, I must say. I have done a fair amount of technical writing in my life, but never for Photoshop users. I never set out to write a tutorial, but when I discovered a really cool way to do something that has previously taken me forever to get right, I realized I needed to tell others about it.
Other than the tutorial and the web maintenance, I have been working on a couple of large-scale web projects to create and promote connectivity among two specific audiences. I’m taking my sweet time on them as I continue to develop the ideas in my head and on paper. I am in the design and planning phase on both of them, although I have already done some extensive programming on the back end of the first and have gone back to spice up my graphics some more. We’ll see where all of this work leads.
I think I may take a break from the computer during Spring Break. It is so nice to not have to get the kids ready for school every morning! I want to just enjoy the whole week and not worry about computer things. But you know, after two days my hands will be itching to sketch some more images or write some more code. I’ll try to keep them busy knitting. Or maybe blogging. I certainly need to catch up, and I have some killer pictures to show off.
And P.S. I discovered my journal categories not working properly today. I’ll take a look at those soon.
