Nonsense and News

Here I am again, several days since my last post, and seriously needing to get some sleep.  Just so you know I have not abandoned my journal, I have two blogs started, one about the kitchen set, and another entitled, “One Does Not Equal Three.” I keep having to get up in the middle of it all and tend to some manner of house or home.

Things are looking up though.  Hunter is well, Will is well, and well, all else is well.  The house is relatively clean, and it seems to be staying that way.  I’ve spent the last few days adopting some of FlyLady’s ways, and tomorrow I plan to shine my already-clean kitchen sink.  As has become my New Year’s habit lately, I’ve been theming my months, and I’ve designated February as “Cleaning Out Month”.  January is “Wrap up all the loose ends of random clients waiting for stuff Month.” However, I started knitting socks right after Christmas, and that took a huge dent out of my January.  I also read that Cussler book, which I actually finished {jaw-dropping} in less than three weeks {applause}.  And Bill and I have rented several movies in the last few weeks.  I’m tellin’ ya folks, I’m learning how to relax.  No more late night work.  (hee hee--I’m writing this after a late night of work.) Really.  Just no more 5- and 6-day stretches of late night work.

Oh yeah.  I never blogged about my new work resolution.  Or any resolution.  (Maybe because I haven’t started them yet!) And I never mentioned that my nerve conduction study said my wrists and elbows are fine, aside from the minor shocks sustained from the study, and that I am now deliberating the decision to spend a chunk of my savings on an MRI to find out that I have a nerve impingement in my neck that will not be fixed.

I also owe my newest Southern Living at Home consultant Jenna a big welcome and my busiest consultant Emily a huge congrats on promoting a level in November.  Business is good these days, and I haven’t even told you about the fact that I’m swearing off parties until school lets out in May.  Life is too short to work three jobs.  I mean, who needs extra money when you don’t have a single solitary minute to spend it?

But all of this rambling and nonsense is going nowhere.  I promise you I am not slacking on the journaling because I do not have enough content.  Quite the contraire!  I’m even spicing up my blog with a few extras, like blog feeds from the Mom Blog Network, and soon a few ads or reviews or something.  Just for when I get bored, you know.  I need to make this place a little more interesting.
