I know I promised a near-daily blog with the launch of my new site, but I have happened upon a very busy weekend. Friday morning I received a random email from a lady three hours away. She found me on the web while she was searching for a SLAH consultant to fill in the empty spot at her friend’s open house. Within minutes I was booked as the SLAH lady at C’Ann’s Annual Holiday Home Show. On SUNDAY. THIS Sunday. Over 40 people have already agreed to come, and a hundred more still haven’t answered the evite. It’s apparently something these ladies look forward to every year so they can get much of their Christmas shopping done early.
With only one day to do two weeks worth of preparation, I am certainly running around the house like a chicken with my head cut off. I have gathered nearly every SLAH product in my house, which looks quite bare now, and I’m cleaning them up, decorating, and planning how to display so many products elegantly. I also have lots of items to wrap for Christmas, because I would love to sell pre-wrapped gifts when I have an extra one to display.
I really need to expand my consultant team into that area so that when I have opportunities like this I can send them to my teammates. I’m afraid I will end up with several ladies wanting to book parties and nobody to do them besides myself. I can’t drive six hours for a party very often. Is there anybody in central Oklahoma who can help me?
