Definitely Not a Nerd

Just a few days agoI thought the end was near. The end of all things computer, that is. I was very close to shutting it down for the last time, never to return. (That happens often in my life, and Bill has finally learned I’m not serious when I say I’m quitting everything.)
I had lost three months worth of email. Really. When was the last time you backed up your email? I back up websites, I back up photos, and I back up terribly important files. But I’ve never even thought about how important my emails are until they were gone.
I was so mad about the whole thing and so dumbfounded, that I only set back up one email account, out of three, and tried to ignore reality for a few days. But after I got tired of checking my email on two computers I finally set all my email accounts back up on Fuji and got back to work. (Actually, that’s stretching it a bit. I was really just too busy taking care of my kids. lol)
And do you know what? As soon as I set up the last email account, all of my emails from way back when just magically reappeared! They were not on the server, I had already checked. They were just hiding out in the depths of Fuji for me to set up my accounts again. So WEIRD!! It proves one of two things. Either computers are screwy, or I’m purty dumb. Both are very good possibilities.
